This Privacy Policy explains how the Vero Recovery ice bath / cold plunge timer app (the “App”) handles information. The App is provided by Vero Recovery Ltd (“we”, “us”). By using the App you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
None. We do not collect personal information. We do not ask you to create an account or sign in. The App has no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.
Data you create in the App
When you log a plunge, the App stores that information — such as the date, duration, water temperature, and any heart-rate figures you choose to record — only on your own device. This data is never sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see it, and it is not backed up to any server we control.
If you use the App’s export feature, a file containing your logged plunges is created and shared using your device’s own sharing options (for example, to save to your files or email it to yourself). Where that file goes is entirely your choice and under your control.
Remote configuration
When the App opens, it may download a small settings file from our website (verorecovery.co.uk) to display up-to-date brand information, links, and to check whether a newer version of the App is available. This is a one-way download of public information. No personal data is sent to our website when this happens, beyond the standard network request your device makes to load any web address.
Health data
The current version of the App does not connect to Apple Health or Android Health Connect. Any temperature or heart-rate values shown are entered or edited by you and stored only on your device. If a future version adds health-app integration, this policy will be updated to describe it, and any such access would require your explicit permission.
Children
The App is a general-purpose timer and is not directed at children. Because the App collects no data, it collects no data from children.
Your control over your data
Because all data lives on your device, you are in full control of it. You can edit or delete any logged plunge within the App, and deleting the App from your device removes all of its stored data.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the App handles information, we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
