Everything you need to fill and drain your ice bath in one compact valve - a 1/2" BSP thread to screw onto your ice bath, a quick-release hose connector on the other end, and a built-in on/off lever in between.
A quick-release hose connector on one end, a threaded connection for your ice bath on the other - with an on/off lever right where the two meet, so you're always in control of the flow.
The ice-bath-facing end has a 1/2" BSP male thread, designed to screw straight into the female connector already fitted to your ice bath.
The outer end takes a standard quick-release, push-and-click hose connector - the same style of fitting used on garden hoses and many chillers - so you can attach or disconnect a hose or chiller in seconds, no tools needed.
Push the quick-release hose connector straight onto the valve until it clicks - no tools, no fiddly threads to line up. Pull the collar back to release it just as easily. We recommend using PTFE tape around the threaded end or a suitable washer to ensure a water-tight connection (not supplied). Hand-tighten the threaded end only - over-tightening with tools can crack or snap the thread.
73.5mm (2.89in) long. The hose nipple end is 15.25mm (0.6in) across with a 7mm (0.2in) internal diameter; the 1/2" BSP male thread end is 21mm (0.8in) across with a 15mm (0.5in) internal diameter.
Ice baths typically use 1/2" male or female connections - this valve is suitable for ice baths with a female connection. Connect to the ice bath's own water inlet or outlet, the valve just screws straight onto it.
Connect a hose to the water inlet and fill your ice bath without the hose pipe going everywhere - handy for topping up quickly between sessions or filling from a tap some distance away. Many modern ice bath chillers use hose connectors, so you can leave the connector on and just connect your chiller up and leave it.
Attach a hose to the water outlet to drain your ice bath - ideal if your ice bath is kept indoors and you need a hose to get the water where it needs to go. Handy on/off valve so you can turn off and disconnect the chiller/hose without water going everywhere.
