A quick-release connector at both ends with a built-in on/off valve - fits inline with your chiller hose or existing ice bath hose setup, no fitting to your ice bath required.
This one doesn't fit onto your ice bath directly - it's a quick-release connector at both ends with a built-in on/off valve, designed to sit inline in the hose between your ice bath and your chiller or existing fill/drain setup.
Both ends take a standard quick-release, push-and-click hose connector - the same style of fitting used on garden hoses and many chillers. No BSP thread to line up on either side, so it works with your existing quick-release fittings rather than needing to be screwed into anything.
Flip the lever to shut the flow off before you disconnect either end - handy for unplugging a chiller or pulling a hose free without water going everywhere, even mid-fill or mid-drain.
If your ice bath runs off a chiller, fit this inline on the chiller's hose connector (or convert the line to quick-release fittings if it isn't already) and you've got an easy disconnect and shut-off valve - so you can unplug the chiller for servicing or moving without the ice bath's water coming out.
If your ice bath's own connector isn't 1/2" BSP, or you'd rather not have a valve screwed straight onto the ice bath sticking out near a wall, you can still add this inline on whatever hose and connector you already fill or drain through - bringing a quick-release disconnect and on/off valve into the mix without changing anything on the ice bath itself.
Line a quick-release hose connector up with either end and push until it clicks - no tools, no threads to line up on either side. Pull the collar back to release it just as easily, whichever end you're working from.
87mm (3.43in) long. Each end is a 15.25mm (0.6in) outer diameter hose nipple with a 7mm (0.2in) internal diameter - a quick-release push-fit connector on each end, no thread.
